It utilizes an advanced ADEM 4 electronic control module and a high-pressure MEUI-C fuel system for a clean, efficient combustion . The engine is paired with an optional lock-up clutch torque converter which, when activated in 2nd through 4th gears, operates like a direct-drive system to significantly improve performance and fuel efficiency during load-and-carry applications and on ramps .
