2018 Gyro-Trac GT16 Dedicated Mulcher
Asset Overview
• Brokerage: FSK Equipment and Supply
• Condition: Excellent: Damaged RH Panel to be Replaced
• Hours: 344 Original Hours (Ultra-low utilization)
• Configuration: Dedicated Tracked Forestry Mulcher (Not a converted skid steer)
⚡ Key Features & Mechanical Advantages
• Factory Hydraulic Push Bar: Active hydraulic cab-controlled guard allows the operator to safely fell and feed large standing timber directly into the cutter drum.
• 100% Dedicated Power: Features a direct-drive flywheel coupling straight to dual high-pressure pumps. 100% of the engine’s power goes entirely to the head, eliminating the parasitic power losses common in standard skid steers.
• Sabre-Tooth "Planar" Technology: Gyro-Trac 500HF cutting head slices wood down to a fine, sawdust-like mulch in a single pass. This dramatically lowers fuel burn and leaves an immediate "park-like" finish.
• High Power, Low Weight: Packs a 160 HP Cummins Turbo Diesel into a lightweight ~17,000 lb. chassis. It can be easily hauled on a standard trailer behind a 1-ton pickup.
• Low Terrain Impact: Heavy-duty rigid steel tracks distribute weight down to an ultra-low 5.2 PSI, preventing the unit from sinking into swamps or tearing up soft topsoil.
• Premium Operator Safety: Fully enclosed, climate-controlled cab with certified Lexan OPS/ROPS/FOPS high-impact glass for total operator protection.
